ART ASAP, Inc. Board of Directors
Kenneth Stewart (Chair), Ph.D. is a licensed family therapist and licensed psychologist who has helped to identify youth demographics that would benefit from our project. He has a wealth of knowledge related to youth empowerment, self-esteem and focus, with the goal of making connections to their community and others. Tenure since 2014.
John Roth (Secretary) is a Minneapolis attorney representing artists and arts organizations for over 30 years. As a member of the Board of Directors he has assisted ART ASAP, Inc. with Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws. He has advised The Art Bus project on liability issues regarding the bus, participants and staff. This is invaluable as insurance is a major outlay. Tenure since 2014.
Autry Beamon is a Senior Marketing Manager for Holcim (US) Inc. and is a former NFL football player, playing for the Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks. He offers marketing expertise for promotional purposes, especially in the area of fundraising, and is well connected in the entertainment industry (his description of NFL football). He is a volunteer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Twin Cities and is well suited to offer guidance in planning promotional and fundraising events. Tenure since 2014.
Mary Carroll, the Founder and Executive Director of ART ASAP: The Art Bus, has a MA in Accounting from the University of Iowa, Henry B. Tippie College of Business and a BFA from Central St. Martin’s, London. Her experience includes auditing, financial accounting, and tax preparation. As an accountant in New York City she worked on Wall Street during the 1980's before changing careers. She has worked as a studio artist in Minneapolis since 1992 and has 20 years experience as an art instructor. Tenure since 2014.
